Net Zero Innovation Spotlight: Solutions for a Greener NHS

How can innovation help the NHS reduce carbon emissions while improving care and operational resilience?

On 26 March 2026, Imperial College Health Partners hosted a Net Zero Innovation Spotlight webinar, bringing together NHS leaders and innovators to explore practical, real‑world solutions supporting the NHS journey to net zero.

The session showcased a range of innovations already working with NHS organisations across North West London and beyond: from reducing air pollution and improving hospital sustainability, to using data and digital tools to identify actionable opportunities for carbon reduction.

Speakers shared insight into:

  • How climate change is already impacting health and healthcare delivery
  • Where NHS organisations can make the most meaningful carbon reductions
  • Innovations being deployed to support greener, more resilient healthcare systems

Whether you’re working on sustainability strategy, estates and infrastructure, clinical pathways or innovation adoption, this session offers valuable insight into what’s working now, and what’s next.

Help feedback on the NetZero innovations, and make new connections

If you watch, or rewatch, the webinar, you can  also share feedback on the innovations featured, and indicate whether you’d like to be connected, using our short online form.

This helps us understand which solutions resonate most with the system and ensures innovators receive valuable, experience-based insights to strengthen and accelerate their work. All feedback will be anonymised, collated, and shared with the innovators to help with their product development. You do not need to have attended the live session to take part, feedback is welcome from anyone watching the recording.
