We are delighted to announce that Dr Dominique Allwood, Chief Executive Officer of Imperial College Health Partners, has been awarded an MBE for services to the NHS in the King’s New Year Honours List.
Dominique joined Imperial College Health Partners (ICHP) in February 2025, alongside her part-time role as Director of Population Health at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
This honour recognises Dominique’s contribution to the NHS over more than 20 years as a clinician and Consultant in Public Health Medicine, spanning senior clinical leadership, management and advisory roles. Her work has consistently focused on improving population health and tackling health inequalities.
Dominique has worked in North West London for over a decade leading complex change across health and care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she also served as Medical Director at NHS Nightingale Hospital London where she helped establish a learning system for the temporary hospital.
Prior to joining ICHP, Dominique was Chief Medical Officer for UCLPartners. She is also a member of the national Health Innovation Network Executive Group, supporting collaboration and sharing learning to accelerate the spread of innovation at pace and scale across the NHS.
Commenting on being awarded an MBE for services to the NHS, Dominique said:
