We are proud to present our Annual Impact Report for 2018/19, showcasing our range of impacts from the last year.
The report gives us the opportunity to reflect on the last year and share our achievements, learnings and aspirations with our members and clients.
Focusing on how we have continued to grow and innovate to meet our partners’ challenges and build a healthier population, the annual review highlights some of our achievements in 2018/19:
- We have partnered with the North West London Collaboration of CCGs to create the first at-scale delivery model for online GP consultations, handling more than 1,000 online consultations in the first three months.
- Through delivery of the national PReCePT programme in North West London, we have reduced the risk of cerebral palsy in 96% of preterm babies born in the region.
- Our Suspicion of Sepsis dashboard, enabling NHS staff to use reliable data to monitor hospital admissions due to bacterial infection or sepsis, has been endorsed by Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Matt Hancock, and included in NHS England’s Long Term Plan.
- More than 4,000 people have volunteered to be on our Discover research register, enabling us to support 20 innovative research projects, covering areas from early diagnosis of atrial fibrillation to patient intervention for liver disease.
