A new online tool matching industry with North West London research organisations launched in December.
The platform, Research Navigator, was developed by Imperial College Health Partners (ICHP) and showcases the North West London health research sector to industry.
The tool provides a clear route-map for industry and clinicians to navigate the health research sector in North West London and aims to break down barriers to entry to the sector.
Commenting on the launch of the Research Navigator, Dr Axel Heitmueller, Managing Director of ICHP, said:
“We have a thriving research sector in North West London and we want to champion the diverse range of opportunities available in the area to industry. We want to work in partnership to develop and deliver improved healthcare in our community and beyond.”
With 20 different research organisations based in North West London, the navigator helps industry developing new products or services for healthcare find local research partners.
The platform also gives the health researchers a platform to promote their services to industry worldwide.
Robina Coker, Clinical Director, North West London Clinical Research Network (CRN) said:
“The Research Navigator provides easier navigation of the NWL research sector for both industry and researchers by providing an easy ‘tube-map’ approach to the full range of services available across the entire research pathway.”
