Erika joined Imperial College Health Partners as PPIE Manager in November 2023 and is passionate about supporting and enabling meaningful involvement of people with lived experiences in healthcare and research innovation to improve health.
Previously, Erika worked at the British Society for Immunology, engaging with the public on immunology topics such as vaccinations and COVID-19, to strengthen understanding and help everyone make informed decisions about their health. Through working in the charity sector, Erika has experience of involving patients in co-creating improvements in NHS services, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals. Erika has a PhD in Stem Cell Biology from UCL and background in biomedical sciences.
