Neuro Developmental Services Lived Experience Partner

Profile Role Description
Imperial College Health Partners is working with the NW London Integrated Care Board ICB on the wider NW London mission t0 Support Children and Young People’s Mental Health. We are now looking to recruit service users, parents, or carers with experience within Neuro Developmental (ND) Services within NW London.

We are particularly interested in young people from NW London with ADHD or Autism and/or their parents and carers who have experienced delays whilst waiting for treatment in NW London and their experience of support offered pre and post diagnosis.

The role will initially be for 6 months, with the potential to extend for an additional 6 months. The time commitment will be around half a day (4 hours) per month for:

  • Working Group meetings approx. 1 hour
  • Meeting with the programme manager approx. 1 hour
  • Another couple of hours a month for reading papers, resources and documents including allocated time for de-brief sessions following working group meetings. You will not need to be able to attend all meetings to be able to be involved and there is scope for you to shape and define your role further with us.
