ICHP hosts Discover-NOW, the Health Data Research Hub for Real World Evidence, which aims to revolutionise the way health data is used responsibly for research into treating and preventing disease. The Discover data is the NWL deidentified dataset – containing linked coded primary care, secondary, acute, mental health, community health and social care records for over 2.3 million patients who live and are registered with a GP in North West London.
Led by ICHP, Discover-NOW is transforming the delivery of healthcare by bringing life sciences, health-tech, academia and the NHS together through data.

Run complex and powerful searches over the rich deidentified linked dataset of 2.3m population to inform protocol design and study feasibility.
Generate data driven insights and analysis into populations and patient cohorts, using the rich linked longitudinal health and care data.
Use leading edge tools such as FARSITE and the North West London Research Register to help find and match patients to clinical trials.
Utilise RWE to evaluate new products and interventions, providing innovators/new products with the real world evidence as required by regulators to support agile market access.
