Biography

Matthew Chisambi joined Imperial College Health partners in August 2018 as an Innovation Delivery Lead and is now an Innovation Lead.

Before joining, Matthew was Urgent Care Lead at Hammersmith and Fulham CCG, where he worked with colleagues across the system to improve these services. He led several programmes across North West London (NWL) STP, including NWL’s Urgent and Emergency Care Digital Milestones and London Ambulance Service Demand Management.

Matthew has considerable private and public sector experience. As a Strategy Consultant at Monitor Deloitte, he delivered projects across a number of industries. However, he focussed on Healthcare and Life Sciences, where clients included multinational pharma companies, national Arm Length Bodies and various NHS organisations. He then went onto national Strategy and Policy roles at the Royal College of General Practitioners and NHS Improvement.

Matthew holds a BSc in Pharmacology from King’s College London, a PGCE from Canterbury Christchurch University and an MSc in Health Policy from Imperial College London. He is a Teach First Ambassador and a digitalhealth.london Digital Pioneer Fellow.
