Joanne has a background working in the NHS as a Therapeutic Radiographer, with a focus in Prostate Cancer.

Since then she has worked at Cancer Research UK writing medical information based on guidelines and research articles. More recently, Joanne has worked in Clinical Educator roles in both the NHS and the private health sector.

Joanne has completed a MSc in Health Economics, and undertaken a thesis focused on modelling the impact of food insecurity on mental well-being.

Joanne is passionate about the potential of health economics to improve patient outcomes.
