Imperial College Health Partners (ICHP) – a partnership organisation bringing together NHS providers of healthcare services across our Integrated Care System (ICS) and universities across North West London.
We are looking for two clinical leaders passionate about using data to improve health and care systems as part of the Networked Data Lab project – Topic 5 (Elective Waiting Lists).
Apply now
In this brief (1.5-day equivalent) but impactful advisory role, you will work closely with our team at ICHP as well our partners Imperial College and The Health Foundation to shape the design of our data collection and analysis on the impact of long elective waiting lists in NW London.
Waiting lists is the fifth topic to be explored by the Networked Data Lab. Previous topics and reports can be found here. Waiting times have consistently been a topic ranked as one of their main concerns regarding the NHS (NHS England, 2024) by the public. We are aiming to understand the impact of waiting for elective care for patients and the healthcare system, including understanding who is disproportionally affected by waiting. We will be doing a deep dive analysis on hip replacements and cardiothoracic surgery, which were chosen to be focus areas from consultation with local stakeholders.
