Abi Joined ICHP in October 2018 through On Purpose, a leadership and career transition programme for mid-career professionals in or entering the social and environmental impact space.
Abi’s background is in the voluntary and community sector. She has worked across business and programme development in charities, and in grant making where she has managed projects and strategic relationships across public and voluntary sectors. Her grant making practice focussed on large, complex, often place-based projects seeking to affect systems change. She also worked internally to maximise programme effectiveness, build organisational capacity for knowledge and learning and develop new ways of working to spearhead changes in organisational practice and culture.
Abi is passionate about tackling the root causes of complex social issues in a sustainable way. She is driven by a commitment to develop a deep understanding of issues through lived experience and data, generate actionable insight and design ways of doing better or develop new ideas and collaborations for social change.
