Tahseen joined ICHP as an Innovation Manager in September 2022, before being promoted to Senior Innovation Manager. She is passionate about innovation in healthcare, leveraging technology and collaborating across sectors and industries to achieve scalable impact and improve patient outcomes.
Tahseen is a medical doctor by background and gained clinical experience working as a physician in the public health sector in South Africa. She has experience working across numerous clinical disciplines in both rural and urban settings. During her time as a medical doctor, she volunteered with both local and international non-profit organizations to improve access to health education and address food insecurity during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Prior to joining ICHP, Tahseen completed a Masters in Public Health specializing in Health Management at Harvard T.H. Chan. She is multilingual and speaks English, Dutch, German, Afrikaans and Isi-Xhosa.
