Sarah joined Imperial College Health Partners in February 2020.
Before joining Sarah led public sector innovation programmes for the Design Council where she developed and delivered design-led innovation programmes which supported organisations across the public and third sector to explore and respond to the key challenges they face. This involved fostering collaboration across organisations and sectors and supporting the spread of new approaches and skills. Her work covered a wide range of health and wellbeing issues including suicide prevention, collaboration on the social determinants of health and the future of healthy ageing.
She has a background in leading change and improvement programmes, first within management consultancy, before moving into transformation roles within Citizens Advice national charity. Over the last 6 years she has focused on people-centred design, supporting organisations to explore their challenges through user-research and insight to help them define, develop and deliver opportunities for innovation.
