Biography

Amanda Lucas joined Imperial College Health Partners as a Programme Director in January 2018 and she is now our Director of Information. In her role Amanda is responsible for enabling the North West London sector to work collaboratively to create value and improve the health and wellbeing of the local population through the design and delivery of complex transformation programmes.

Amanda is currently responsible for delivery of Discover-NOW, the Health Data Research Hub for Real World Evidence.

Amanda is a former management consultant having spent over 12 years in one of the big four consultancies and then working through her own limited company. She has a track record of Board level engagement and delivery of large and complex programmes across the public sector and health and is an expert in big data programmes.

More recently, Amanda was Programme Director for the Whole Systems Integrated Care (WSIC) Programme on behalf of the Collaboration of 8 CCGs across NWL. Amanda set up WSIC that has developed linked health and social care records for over 2.2 million patients in NWL which are available to improve current and future care of the local population.

Amanda has a BA and MA in Economics from Leeds University.
