In addition to our partners we work closely with local government and social care, technology and pharmaceutical industries, opinion leaders, research bodies and of course patients and the public – who as the ultimate beneficiaries of our work drive everything we do.
There are a number of bodies working in North West London that we consistently collaborate and work in partnership with as there is significant crossover and alignment of our respective priorities. These include Health Education North West London and the Comprehensive Local Research Network (CLRN)
As two of our strategic priorities are focused on enabling discovery of best practice and then ensuring widespread adoption of this, two bodies we work very closely with are Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) and the Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care for North West London (CLAHRC). The roles we all play can be defined as follows:
- AHSC: Identify best practice through research and discovery
- CLAHRC: Demonstrates translation of research into best practice through improvement science
- ICHP: Promotes diffusion and consistent adoption of best practice and innovation across the sector
We are also one of 15 Academic Health Science Networks across England, which make up The AHSN Network. We work closely with other AHSNs to share best practice and learning.
